What we store.

wtspp.me keeps account and link data in files on the server. There is no separate database.

Accounts

When you sign up we store your name, email, and a hash of your password. Sign-in codes are emailed to you and stored only as a hash until they expire. We do not keep the code itself.

Links

A link stores the page title and text, the WhatsApp number and prefilled message or the group link, optional image and conversion settings, and two totals: page views and WhatsApp clicks. We do not store visitor IP addresses, and the public page does not set a cookie.

Cookies

The dashboard uses one session cookie so you stay signed in. The public short link does not use that cookie.

Email

We send email codes for sign-up, sign-in, and password reset. Those messages go out through the mail provider configured on the server.

Ad pixels

If you add a Google Ads conversion, a Meta Pixel, or a pixel URL, that code runs in the visitor’s browser when they press the WhatsApp button. Those platforms then receive the event under your own account.
